Page: 1 2 [3]

G. Console Panel is dim or shows all zeros while
treadmill is running:
- Some treadmills have a battery powered display console panel. Change
batteries first.
- Make sure the speed sensor, usually near the front roller or motor, is properly aligned and the wiring is intact throughout the system.
- Make sure safety key (if equipped) is in place on the panel.
- Make sure a circuit breaker has not tripped and reset is necessary.
- Check for blown fuses in the treadmill or a loose wire. (These are usually
found on power supply board or motor controller).
- If you are capable, use a multi-meter and and trace the power until you
find where it stops.
|
H. Console has lights on display, but no belt movement:
- Speed sensor is out of place or has burned out.
- Motor controller needs new fuse or replacement.
- Can just be a loose wire or voltage problem.
- Power supply may be failing.
- High probability of the problem related to something electrical (wire loose or pinched, circuit board).
- Short in the system.
